From "Yes" to Live Site

Someone said yes. Here's exactly what happens next — the three links, and the week that follows.

The whole close is three links

  1. OpenSign link — they sign the agreement
  2. Stripe link — they pay (see Training 2)
  3. Intake form link — they give us their content
Set the expectation out loud: "I'm going to text you three quick links — sign, pay, and a 10-minute form about your business. The week starts when the form's done."

Link 1 — the agreement (OpenSign)

  1. Open our OpenSign template
  2. Fill it for this deal: their business info, check the plan, check (or don't) the 12-month commitment box
  3. Send for signature — or better, hand them your phone in the shop and they sign on the spot
The agreement is one page, plain English, and says the good stuff out loud: they own their domain, cancel anytime, no surprise invoices. Let them read it — it sells.

Link 2 — the payment (Stripe)

Full walkthrough in Training 2: Getting Paid. The short version:

  1. Customer → subscription → plan (+ setup fee if month-by-month)
  2. Email invoice, due on receipt → copy the link → text it
  3. Paid = deal moves to Signed in HubSpot

Link 3 — the intake form

The one-week clock starts when the form is COMPLETE — not when they sign. Say it kindly and clearly: "The moment you finish the form, your one-week countdown starts." Owners who stall on photos are the #1 cause of late sites.

Then: tell Mauricio — same day

Signed + paid + form done
→ text Mauricio today

The build starts on the handoff. Include: business name, plan, 12-month or not, and anything unusual you promised in writing.

Their first week (what to tell them)

  1. Days 1–3: we build the site from their form and photos
  2. Mid-week: they get a preview link — "tell us anything you want changed"
  3. We adjust until they love it
  4. By day 7: live on their own domain. Google Business Profile fully set up within 14 days

Life as a client (so you can describe it)
